Next week I’ll partake in the world’s largest migration of the Salesforce CRM ecosystem. Destination, as always, is San Francisco. For four days, the city will be over-taken by more than 120,000 visitors clamoring to attend any of the 1250 sessions, an expanded Cloud Expo offering more than 350 exhibitors, and a smorgasbord of parties, after-parties, and after-after-parties.
If you want free tickets to the Dreamforce keynote and the Expo, all you have to do is register here. If you want to attend the sessions you’ll need to buy a ticket. You can save $300 if you buy your ticket by Nov 17th instead of waiting to buy it on-site.
Since I’m all about Tools, it makes sense for me to focus this blog on the exhibitors I consider to be must-see, or don’t-miss tools. There’s no way anyone can attend sessions, network, check email, eat meals, get to and from sessions, AND talk to all the exhibitors during the 4 day event. So it’s critical to get your exhibitor plan in place before you get there. And I’ve done the work for you.
Get a print out of the maps at the top of this blog. It includes both the North and the West Hall of Moscone Center, the location of the must-see vendors, and the optimized order. Head to these booths first so you can make sure you get to speak to someone and see a personal demo.
In addition to this handy map of Must-See Tools vendors, consider stopping by LuLu’s when you need a break from the maddening crowd. Folks from KnowledgeTree, one of our Top 40 Sales Tools, are making a lounge and DreamCharge station available from 1-5 on Tuesday-Thursday. Skip the lines at Starbucks, go to LuLu’s to relax, refuel, and recharge courtesy of KnowledgeTree.
Also, be sure to have a nice leisurely breakfast and then join me Wednesday morning at 9:30 at the InterContinental (look for the Telegraph Hill room) for a special session called “Accelerate Your Sales Strategy with Mobile.” I’ll be presenting with Shirley Foster, SVP at ThisMoment and Nilay Patel, Founder and CEO of Selligy.
