I’ll be one of several thousand people attending CallidusCloud Connections (C3) conference next week in Las Vegas.
C3 is one of two cloud and industry conferences that I never miss – the other being Salesforce’s Dreamforce event. Dreamforce which has around 140,000 registered attendees, 400 exhibitors and 1600 sessions is certainly the bigger event. Bigger, however, isn’t always better, especially if what you want is to be surrounded by people who first and foremost, care about the entire lead-to-money funnel.
With its focused agenda (just 60 sessions) and targeted audience of sales, marketing, learning and customer experience professionals, it’s where I know I’ll hear new ideas for running high performance organizations without all the extra noise that is often irrelevant to these 4 areas.
As always, C3 speakers will cover the important topics like how to:
- Increase deal sizes and win rates while shortening sales cycles
- Drive higher quota attainment
- Motivate sales and channel while reducing incentive costs
- Find, capture and convert more leads
- Coach and train sales and marketing for maximum productivity
- Measure and act on customer sentiment in real time
You don’t need to be a CallidusCloud customer to benefit from C3. I learn the latest thinking, market trends and technology trends. I also have great conversations with people I’ve never met before and it’s a great chance to meet up with friends. Something that’s tough to do at a conference the size of a city.
There will also be an expo so you’ll have the chance to see some of the best technology for sellers and marketers in action.
CallidusCloud knows how to run an event but they also know how to run one heck of a party. The Customer appreciation party will be held at the XS NightClub, Encore, in the Wynn hotel. You can be sure there will be plenty of music, great food, and great networking!
It’s not too late to register and registration options include hotel. Register here: http://calliduscloudconnections.com/register/. You’ll also find a very handy agenda builder to plan your days. Click here to see what’s scheduled.
If all of the above isn’t enough incentive, I’ve got a number for you – 200. That’s the number of Peyton Manning career wins (the first quarterback in NFL history to hit that number). What does that have to do with C3? You guessed it, he’s their keynote speaker.
Dreamforce is an excellent event but there’s a lot to be said for an event like C3 that is more focused on sellers and marketers where you can actually network and enjoy yourself without swimming in an ocean of people. It’s become a don’t miss event. Hope to see you there.
