The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) is an online resource for answering these questions and more. It was founded 4 years ago by James Oberhausen, Susan Campanale and Mark Friedman who had a vision for serving the sales lead management community with valuable information and resources. Today, they have more than 4300 members and more than 39,000 unique visitors to their site each year.
Membership to the association is free. You’ll find articles, book reviews, webinars, and an “ask the expert” feature. One of the aspects I find most valuable is their podcast series via their weekly SLMA radio show. Listen at your leisure and learn from a wide variety of speakers.
The initiative I’m most grateful for is the SLMAs commitment to recognizing people who have made significant contributions to the industry. Earlier this year, they named the “20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management.”
And last week, they announced their annual nominations for the “50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management.”
A team of professional researchers thoroughly examine the credentials of one hundred and fifty potential nominees, and query editors from the most popular sales resource venues for their input.
